Profile
Brent Brennan was hired as Arizona’s head coach on January 16, 2024 and earned a contract extension through at least 2030 after the Wildcats’ Holiday Bowl trip. A former wide receiver at UCLA, Brennan previously led San José State from 2017–23, where he won the 2020 Mountain West Championship and Mountain West Coach of the Year. In his first two seasons at Arizona he guided the program to its most productive passing and drafting outcomes in years, producing multiple All-Big-12 selections and NFL Draft picks.

Emphasizes explosive passing offenses and receiver development while insisting on ball security and turnover margin as foundations for sustained improvement. Brennan’s staffs have produced nationally ranked passing attacks, low turnover totals and measurable offensive surges in late-season stretches, and he has a track record of developing receivers into All-Americans and NFL draftees.
