Charles Huff was introduced as the 26th head coach at Memphis after a coaching career that included a 2025 turnaround at Southern Miss from 1-11 (2024) to a bowl-eligible 7-5 season in 2025. He compiled a 32-20 record as Marshall head coach from 2021-24 and led the Herd to the 2024 Sun Belt Conference championship with a 31-3 win over Louisiana.
