Profile
Deion Sanders became Colorado's head coach in December 2022 after leading Jackson State to a 27-6 record and consecutive SWAC championships. He inherited a Colorado program coming off a 1-11 season and guided the Buffaloes to 9-4 in 2024, tying for first in the Big 12 standings. Before coaching, Sanders built a Pro Football Hall of Fame playing career as a cornerback and return specialist, earning nine first-team All-Pro selections and winning two Super Bowls.
