Jason Eck joined the University of New Mexico Lobos in December 2024, bringing 26 years of coaching experience across FBS, FCS, and Division II levels. With prior head coaching success at the University of Idaho, where he led the Vandals to consistent national rankings and playoff berths, Eck quickly transformed UNM’s program. In his inaugural season with the Lobos, he notched a school-record nine wins for a first-year coach, secured a bowl appearance, and engineered landmark victories including a historic rout of UCLA at the Rose Bowl.
