Profile
Named Louisville’s 24th full-time head coach on Dec. 8, 2022, Brohm entered the role after previously winning back-to-back Conference USA championships at Western Kentucky (2015, 2016) and leading Purdue to the 2022 Big Ten West Division title. At Louisville he has produced three straight nine-win seasons (2023-25), led the Cardinals to the program’s first ACC Championship Game appearance (2023), and recorded a 24-21 road upset at No. 2 Miami in 2025—the first road win over an AP Top 10 for the program.
Coaching Approach
Aggressive, high-variance offensive approach that creates explosive plays: Louisville under Brohm ranked T-8 nationally in scoring offense (36.5 ppg in 2024), T-1 in scrimmage plays of 40+ yards and T-2 in plays of 50+ yards, and has produced seasons with a 3,000-yard passer, a 1,000-yard receiver and a 1,000-yard rusher, reflecting emphasis on vertical play and multi-dimensional offense.
