Mike Jacobs was named Toledo’s 28th head coach in December 2025 after 10 seasons as a head coach and 24 years in the college coaching ranks, entering Toledo with a 94-23 career record. He led Mercer to back-to-back Southern Conference titles in 2024 (11-3, SoCon champions, NCAA quarterfinals) and 2025 (9-3, 8-0 SoCon) and was SoCon Coach of the Year in both 2024 and 2025.
