P.J. Fleck was named Minnesota’s 30th head coach on January 6, 2017 and owns a 66-44 record at Minnesota and a 96-66 career head coaching mark. He was voted Big Ten Coach of the Year in 2019 after guiding the Gophers to an 11-win season that year—the program’s first 11-win campaign since 1904—and has produced seven bowl wins at Minnesota, the most bowl victories by any coach in school history.
